About
Nutrition and diabetes counselling in Berlin – grounded in science, made for everyday life, with room for the food you love. In German, Turkish and English.
Diabetesberaterin DDG and Qualifizierte Diät- und Ernährungsberaterin VFED, my German qualifications in diabetes education and nutrition counselling. Born in Izmir, in Berlin since 2019, where I work in nutrition therapy at a hospital.
Process
15 minutes, free
You describe in a few sentences what this is about. I tell you honestly whether I am the right person — and if not, who would be.
about 20 minutes of your time
You get a short questionnaire and bring any test results you have. Both save us half the session in formalities.
60 minutes
We go through your week, not an ideal diet. What is left at the end is three to five things you can do differently from tomorrow — not thirty.
within two days
Everything we discussed in writing, with recipes and shopping ideas — so you do not have to remember a conversation from a week ago.
at your own pace
Some people come once and that is enough. Others I see over months. There is no subscription and no minimum term — you decide again after every session.

Recipes

Napa cabbage, gochugaru and a little patience: a traditional kimchi in your own jar that tastes best from the second week on.

A delicious and practical Pumpkin Soup recipe with a perfectly smooth, silky texture that will warm your heart:

One tray, one pot of bulgur, done in half an hour. The feta goes on at the plate, so that it stays in pieces.
Journal

No bans, no hard-to-find ingredients: an hour of listening to start with, then a routine you can keep up with what is already in your cupboard.

Blood sugar, insulin dosing and CGM data together: how we bring type 1 and type 2 diabetes under control to DDG standards.

Starting solids is about far more than a full tummy. How the first spoonfuls build a lifelong relationship with food, seen by a mother and counsellor.
Common questions
Fifteen minutes on the phone, free. We work out whether it fits – and if it does not, I tell you who would be better.
